Liquorificio Morelli was born 104 years ago from an idea of the knight Leonello Morelli who mixed essences to create liqueurs and infusions to administer his patrons. In 1911 the company was founded in Via Garibaldi in Forcoli. After Leonello, his son Dante and then his nephew Piero continued the activity, obtaining ever wider results and expanding the boundaries. Today the company sees at the head of the fourth generation Morelli, formed by the brothers Luca, Paolo and Marco.
2009 saw a huge change: after 98 years of activity, the historic headquarters was abandoned, to move to a completely new building located in Montanelli. This is a new environment that guarantees customers a correct and accurate production chain, but which does not forget the origins, therefore recalling the concept of craftsmanship that is the basis of the company. The production is close to 300,000 bottles a year; Morelli products are present not only throughout Italy, but also in Europe in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, arriving also in the United States where in Miami has recently been opened a new office.
