The estate of Villa Saletta lies in the heart of the Pisan hills and enjoys an enviable position among steep slopes that rise from the valley to the ancient town of Palaia. Known since Etruscan times, it experienced the heyday between the 16th and 17th centuries, when the Riccardi Family – whose fortunes are linked to the Medici – made it one of the most flourishing and well-known estates in all of Tuscany. In 2002 agricultural activities, in particular of the vineyards, were restored, maximum attention was paid to the details of each phase of the production process with the aim of returning Villa Saletta to the forefront of wine production. From the beginning, the line of producing superior quality wines prevailed, concentrating on the production of a few labels, capable of confronting the best “Super Tuscan” in the Italian wine scene. Moreover, there are 3 farmhouses, which have been renovated and transformed into luxury residences. Each villa has air conditioning, wifi, barbecue, private garden, outdoor swimming pool and all modern comforts.
