“AZIENDA AGRICOLA SAN GERVASIO”
“Azienda Agricola San Gervasio” is located in San Gervasio, in the municipality of Palaia. The estate has 22 hectares of owned vineyards, suitable for the production of quality grapes. The vineyards are located on the top of the hills surrounding the winery and the village; only the best soils were destined for the cultivation of the vine, taking advantage of the good exposure to sunlight and the proximity of the Tyrrhenian coast, elements that make the ideal climate for quality viticulture. The organic viticulture aims to express the typicality of the area. The soils are characterized by calcareous marl resting on tuff, sand, clay and by the presence of fossil shells.
The main red grape varieties are Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon; white grape varieties are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino and Trebbiano.
